Blackpool Trams Information

A site established by the Lancastrian Transport Trust which is updated regularly with latest news, features, fleet lists and photo gallery. LAZERTRAN

Supplies decal paper suitable for use on inkjet printers without the use of an expensive finishing spray.Formerly known as JetCal its supplied in an opaque white form and remaining in this form when protected by a water based varnish or Johnsons Klear it will become a clear decal if protected by a solvent or spirit based varnish. Used by Len to produce the overall liveries and illuminations features. Also supplies other types of decal film for use on different materials. M.D.FINNEY

Supplies a range of abrasives including the "Flour paper" which is used to rub down and finish the paintwork on model trams. Also supplies a wide range of abrasives and other useful items.

STRATFORD BRASS RUBBING CENTRE

Imports and supplies high quality black paper in sheet or roll. The only supplier of black paper known to Len at present. FYLDE TRAMWAY SOCIETY

The FTS was formed to support the retention and development of the Blackpool to Fleetwood Tramway. The site also provides links to other transport sites featuring trams and buses plus a full list of all Blackpool trams past and present including the colourful advertising trams together with photographs of a great number of them. There are also details of the Blackpool and Fleetwood Tramroad and the Lytham St.Annes trams, Blackpool buses and many other interesting links.

LANCATRIAN TRANSPORT TRUST.

The website of the Lancastrian Transport Trust, an organisation that has a number of Blackpool trams as well as buses connected with the Fylde area contains photographs of Blackpool trams including 304, the subject of a Salvage Squad TV programme.

Has a number of Blackpool trams on site which can sometimes be ridden on. A great day out for adults and children alike! Ride on real trams from days long gone. View trams in the museum buildings. EAST ANGLIA TRANSPORT MUSEUM

The only remaining Blackpool Vam Bac tram has been magnificently restored here, also Blackpool Standard 159 bothg offering rides when available. Also have London tram, trolleybuses, buses, miniature railway, cars, gift shop, cafe and many other attractions.

Look in the newest files list and possible do a search on the word "Tram" where the first Freeware UK based TRAM route for Microsoft Train Simulator, based on the Blackpool Tramway, has been released, joining a selection of Blackpool tramcars which can be operated over it. You can now do something which is impossible in real life....drive a tram all the way from Starr Gate through to Fleetwood in real time.
